Job Description

Job Purpose: As a Lead Staffing Strategies Specialist at Aspire Health Partners, you will be responsible for day-to-day functions involving recruiting processes and systems. These functions include – but are not limited to –


1.     Perform all job responsibilities necessary in relation to the delivery of recruiting services to include but not limited to;

•        Screen resumes received for posted vacancies via contracted vendor, to identify the most qualified candidate(s) based on published job description, education/experience/skill requirements

•        Conduct phone screening interviews of most qualified candidate(s) and document accordingly

•        Forward most qualified candidate(s) with accompanying documentation to hiring manager for personal interview

•        Document all recruiting efforts as necessary in the established mediums and systems

•        Report all issues and concerns to Supervisor as they occur


2.     Ensure all recruiting efforts are in accordance with;

•        HR Policies and Procedures

•        Recruiting Protocols

•        Company Policies and Procedures

•        Federal/State regulatory bodies

•        Funding/Contract requirements


3.     Facilitate, monitor and document in the appropriate recording system the pre-employment processing of all newly selected candidates to include but not limited to;

•        Completion of pre-employment HR documents

•        Reference verification, minimum of (2)

•        Education verification via contracted vendor

•        Pre-Employment Drug Testing

•        FDLE live scanning (DJJ live scan for applicable programs)


4.     Facilitate the onboarding of all new hires, to include the completion of all related Pre- and Post- Employment documents.


5.     Work with Hiring Managers to ensure HR understanding of their programmatic needs with regards to recruiting; i.e. minimum education, experience and skill requirements and also ensure a mutual understanding of the recruiting and hiring process, time lines and deliverables.


6.     Provide frequent updates of HR’s progress on filling vacancies to hiring managers; effectiveness of advertisement/resumes received, phone screens conducted, qualified candidates, etc. (approximately weekly or more frequent for critical positions). Proactively work with Hiring Managers to make adjustments for improved results.


7.     Facilitate the completion of internal HR documents and copies of necessary HR documents for data entry and provide to appropriate HR staff as hired occur.


8.     Notify Hiring Manager of candidate readiness for work upon the completion of onboarding by sending the Onboarding Notification Email and Program Training Checklist.


9.     Assist Staffing Strategies Manager in maintaining all services and systems related to recruiting; to include but not limited to; advertisement mediums, system and initiatives, applicant tracking, and recruiting processes.


10. Schedule and provide trainings on the CareerBuilder Applicant System (CBAT) and Silk Road Onboarding System to Hiring Managers as needed.


11. Proactively seek out new community contacts and partnerships with schools, colleges & universities for recruitment of current students and alumni. Participate in on-campus information sessions.


12. Train new Staffing Strategies hires and provide refresher trainings to existing Staffing Strategies team members, as needed.


Most importantly, all functions must be completed while maintaining high standards of ethical and professional conduct while adhering to agency policies and procedures.


Job Requirements

Position qualifications: Ability to receive and maintain a(n)

  • Level II Background clearance
  • Acceptable Motor Vehicle Registration driver’s license record in accordance with the underwriting guidelines set by Aspire insurance company as described in the AHP Corporate Transportation Policy 3.9.1


  • Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources or related field

Other qualifications: Minimum of 3 years of experience in Full Life Cycle Recruiting; Experience working in an Applicant Tracking System; Ability to take initiative and build productive relationships; Excellent written and verbal communication, interpersonal and customer service skills; Computer skills including in-depth internet knowledge and proficiency in Word, Excel, Microsoft Office and database applications. Flexibility to work some evenings preferred; Experience in a leadership position is preferred.
