Job Description

Job Purpose: As a Contract Management and Managed Care Specialist at Aspire Health Partners, your job purpose is to be responsible for the administration of contracts and grants the company has with various agencies, which may include: Managing Entity, Central Florida Cares Health System, State of Florida, federal agencies, local agencies, Orange County Government and other miscellaneous agencies. Perform accounting

functions as needed.

 

Essential Functions of the job are:

  • Communicate with managed care representatives and Patient Accounts to resolve outstanding claims issues or any other issues that may arise.
  • Disseminate contract/grant requirements to make sure the company adheres to the terms and conditions of the contracts/grants, including monitoring deliverables, performance measures and outcomes. Also, communicate what is required in the contract/grant to pertinent staff.
  • Must be able to analyze data and communicate findings with internal parties.
  • Assist on any monitoring and audits that are conducted by outside entities.
  • Submit any required reports as needed per the terms of the contract/grants.
  • Track invoicing and collections to verify that Aspire is drawing down funds specified in the contracts/grants.
  • Ability to learn and utilize the EHR system Avatar.
  • Flexible and willing to perform other tasks as assigned.

 

Most importantly, all functions must be completed while maintaining high standards of ethical and professional conduct while adhering to all company policies and procedures.

Job Requirements

Position qualifications: Ability to receive and maintain a(n)

  • Level II Background Clearance
  • Acceptable Motor Vehicle Registration driver’s license record in accordance with the underwriting guidelines set by Aspire’s insurance company as described in the AHP Corporate Transportation Policy 3.9.1
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Business Studies, Business Management or Administration, Finance, or Computer Sciences

 

Other Qualifications: Minimum of 2 years of experience working in Contracts Management/Administration related activities and interfacing with managed care companies and/or governmental entities. Experience in Behavioral health is preferred. Intermediate Excel skills required- specifically working with Pivot Tables. Must be able to work in a team environment. Ability to communicate effectively with internal and external parties. Ability to think outside of the box when resolving issues.
