Job Description

Job Purpose: As a Director I at Aspire Health Partners, your job purpose is be responsible for the overall management of the MIST program as part of a team with an emphasis on Information Technology, Help Desk Management, On Call Management, Networks, Data Security & HIPAA, Disaster Planning/Simulations and successful data backups and restorations, Mobile Devices, the "internet of things," and myAvatar operations. As Aspire Health Partners continues to bring together all EHR activity under myAvatar, the incumbent will be willing and available to provide excellent customer support and assistance in order to ensure a successful transition. This requires cooperation, respect, and open-mindedness in regard to interactions with your peers and others. The program responsibilities include day to day operations, budgeted revenue and expenditures, employee training compliance and HR management of staff members. These functions include – but not limited too – providing supervision, consultation and leadership to staff, assume a leadership role in the development of new innovations, assure compliance with rules and standards of the Company, Contractors, Regulatory Agencies such as AHCA, DCF, CARF, etc., contribute to the development of program evaluations, productivity standards, outcome indicators designed to promote and measure the effectiveness of services. In addition, works with the supervisor as well of Finance Leadership in the development of the department(s) budget and maintaining the revenue and operating expenses within budgeted guidelines and expectations; when applicable, able to create, present and follow business plans and hire, supervise and handle corrective action of staff members while consulting with the HR department. Mostly importantly, all functions must be completed while maintaining high standards of ethical and professional conduct while adhering to all company policies and procedures.

    • Level II Background clearance

  • Acceptable Motor Vehicle Registration driver’s license record in accordance with the underwriting guidelines set by Aspire’s insurance company.
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, MIS, or a closely related field and THREE year's experience in MIS or Computer/Network operations with ONE year serving in a managerial/supervisory capacity. 

Other qualifications:

In lieu of a Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, MIS or closely related field, an Associate’s Degree in Computer Science, MIS or closely related field along with FOUR year's experience in MIS or Computer Operations is required along with ONE year serving in a managerial/supervisory capacity. 

Knowledge and experience in report writing, data base administration, troubleshooting applications and hardware issues, business administration, accounting, non-profit or governmental operations and regulations, billing and third party reimbursements, and Florida State Reporting preferred.  Experience with EHRs preferred.  Certifications preferred.  Experience and knowledge of Microsoft Network and Service Administration, PC Hardware/Software Support, TCP/IP, LAN/WAN Technologies, DNS, Enterprise Exchange Administration, File/Print Administration required.
