Job Description

Job Duties: 

  • Project Management – Must have extensive experience in dealing with project development/implementation/management within an operations department.
  • Construction Management – Experience in dealing with small and medium size construction projects. Must have experience in dealing with construction projects within a hospital setting. Must have the ability to develop scope of project, conduct RFP’s, develop of budget and project implementation.
  • Staff Development – Experience in mentoring staff, coordinating of staff evaluations and ability to guide a potential new hire through the hiring process.
  • Department Goals – Experience in developing of department goals, setting action plans and the monitoring of the goals and plans to ensure departmental success.
  • Department Accounts Payable – Ability to track approve and coding of invoices to correct department.
  • Budget - Must monitor department budgets to ensure all expenditures are within budgetary expectations.
  • Compliance - Must have knowledge of Local, State and Federal compliance rules/laws/regulations – AHCA – CARF – Fire Code – Building Codes
  • Inspections- Must coordinate all internal and external inspections, maintain all recordkeeping – Handling all external inspections, monthly drills
  • Laundry Department Supervision – Ability to manage staff in commercial laundry department. Handle scheduling of staff, coordinate repairs of equipment and schedule all preventative maintenance of equipment.
  • Safety Department Supervision – Handle the supervision of the safety department, including staff throughout our facilities. Ensure all staff are properly trained and operate within department and company policies and procedures.
  • Provide other operational support and backup as needed. 

 

 

 

Job Requirements

Bachelor degree required.

Experience in Hospital Environment Health Industry and familiarity with all applicable standards and regulations.  Management experience preferred.
