Job Description

Job Purpose: This is a family voice and support position involving the support and coordination of services for caregivers and families who require diversion and prevention supports. This person will work in concert with the Wraparound Orange Specialist to conduct strength discoveries and co-lead Family Team Meetings. Effective performance requires a high degree of Independent judgement and ability to function under the established policies, procedures and practices.

  • Be involved with the interdisciplinary team’s development of the youth’s family care plan, providing support and assistance with various activities to ensure the completion of the client’s care plan and effectively communicating with those involved with the family care plan.
  • Effectively documents family’s participation and engagement in Wraparound systems of care in the youth electronic medical record
  • Assisting clients with program resources.
  • Ensuring the safety of youth and families at all times.
  • Complete required trainings and attending staff meetings.

 

Most importantly, all functions must be completed while maintaining high standards of ethical and professional conduct while adhering to agency policies and procedures.

Job Requirements

Position qualifications: Ability to receive and maintain a(n)

  • Level II Background clearance
  • Acceptable Motor Vehicle Registration driver’s license record in accordance with the underwriting guidelines set by Aspire’s insurance company.
  • High School Diploma
  • Bilingual 
  • Certified Recovery Peer Specialist or able to obtain the CRPS credential as qualified by: attesting to the lived experience as a family member or caregiver to another person who is living with a mental health and/or substance use condition. 
  • Experience in navigating juvenile justice or special education in Orange County, FL is a plus. 

Other Qualifications: Minimum of 1 year of experience; Good communication skills; Knowledge of Microsoft Outlook Calendar, Word, Publisher and PowerPoint
