Job Description

Job Purpose: As Patient Accounts Representative at Aspire Health Partners, your job purpose will be to provide a multitude of essential functions regarding the department. These functions include – but are not limited to – acting as the liaison between the client, client’s family, insurance company, utilization review and other staff when necessary, verifying insurance benefits, handling self-pay client accounts, accurately preparing Medicaid, Medicare, Managed Care and third party billing on a weekly bases, handling unpaid claims, performing cash application functions, communicating effectively by utilizing the necessary technology, obtaining and tracking initial and subsequent authorization, running and reviewing reports as needed.

Most importantly, all functions must be completed while maintaining high standards of ethical and professional conduct while adhering to agency policies and procedures

Job Requirements

Position qualifications: Ability to receive and maintain a(n)

  • Level II Background clearance
  • Acceptable Motor Vehicle Registration driver’s license record in accordance with the underwriting guidelines set by Aspire insurance company as described in the AHP Corporate Transportation Policy 3.9.1
  • High School Diploma

Other qualifications: 3- 5 years of insurance verification experience preferred; Verification of insurance benefits, obtaining and tracking initial and subsequent authorization for outpatient services, run and review reports and monitor auth widgets.
