Job Description

Job Purpose: As Nurse Manager at Aspire Health Partners, your job purpose will be to provide a multitude of essential functions regarding the daily operations of the assigned inpatient programs. These functions include – but are not limited to – providing a Therapeutic Mileu, conducting monthly staff meetings, education and in-services, monitoring staff performance and professionalism, monitoring program operations, treatment planning, documentation, implementing program changes when necessary, maintaining safety and corporate compliance, participating in the management of budgetary expenditures and effectively participating in the ongoing involvement in program growth and improvement. Most importantly, all functions must be completed while maintaining high standards of ethical and professional conduct while adhering to agency policies and procedures.

Job Requirements

Position qualifications: Ability to receive and maintain a(n)

  • Level II Background clearance
  • Acceptable Motor Vehicle Registration driver’s license record in accordance with the underwriting guidelines set by Aspire insurance company as described in the AHP Corporate Transportation Policy 3.9.1
  • Current RN Florida License
  • BSN preferred

Other qualifications: Five Years or equivalent previous background in areas of Nursing Supervision . Must have knowledge of Quality Improvement, supervision/healthcare administration, direct hands on skills, CPR and basic word processing skills. Demonstrates leadership abilities, accepts responsibility, exercises authority, functions independently, possess effective writing skills and verbal communication. Articulates knowledge of general staffing requirements, theory and practice; applies principles in daily program staff scheduling, demonstrates knowledge of hospital organizational structure including P&P’s. Demonstrates interest and willingness to teach. Must work well with others using tact and diplomacy. Exhibits good conduct and grooming as a representative of acute care nursing management. Possesses insight for employee potential growth and development and demonstrates ability to do effective, impartial counseling as set forth by the company P&P’s. Demonstrates ability to obtain and analyze facts and apply sound judgment independently. Possesses knowledge, competence and expertise to perform essential nursing functions including infection control, universal precautions and MSDS requirements. Must participate in annual competency testing and complete 9 required training modules for Co-Occurring Disorders.
