Job Description

We are actively recruiting for full time opportunities and a part time opportunity as well. 

Perform duties to plan and implement community or schoolbased programs to provide substance abuse education, intervention, preventionand referral services to adult and youthful residents of designated communityor students in designated schools.

Responsibilities include;

  • Plan alcohol, tobacco and other drug addiction education, prevention and social skill development presentations and activities as appropriate based on age, cultural, ethnic background of participants.
  • Submit plans for review, attain authorization and implement approved activities within assigned community or schools.
  • Identify resources or other support services and refer residents, students or families as appropriate.
  • Assist students with school work as required.
  • Maintain all required program documentation relating to observations, activities, issues involved in dealings with residents or students to include periodic reports on activities and progress.
  • Implement daily life skills education which may include communication skills, self esteem, and decision making.

Job Requirements

  • Associates degree in behavioral health or related field preferred, High school minimum is required.
  • 2 years experience in a behavioral health, mental health, substance abuse setting may be substituted for degree.
  • Requires validState of Florida Drivers’license.
