Job Description

Job Purpose: As Purchasing Assistant at Aspire Health Partners, your job purpose will be to provide a multitude of duties in order to assist in the procurement process of medical products or office materials and supplies wherein specifications are well defined. These functions include – but are not limited to – processing all written and verbal department request for supplies for all Lakeside locations, delivering supplies to departments, maintaining van and repairs, running errands or providing additional courier service as requested, assisting purchasing manager, processing all incoming and outgoing mail, receiving and checking in orders from vendors and notifying Purchasing Assistant III when supplies need to be reordered, sorting and restocking supply room, handling petty cash fund for Central Plaza location, verifying correct pricing and invoices, backing up for Purchasing Assistant and preparing priority and UPS mail and packages when needed. Most importantly, all functions must be completed while maintaining high standards of ethical and professional conduct while adhering to agency policies and procedures.

Job Requirements

Position qualifications: Ability to receive and maintain a(n)

  • Level II Background clearance
  • Acceptable Motor Vehicle Registration driver’s license record in accordance with the underwriting guidelines set by Aspire insurance company as described in the AHP Corporate Transportation Policy 3.9.1
  • High School Diploma
