***THIS IS A CASUAL/ AS NEEDED EMPLOYMENT OPPORTUNITY***

 

As a Staffing Coordinator at Aspire Health Partners, your job purpose will be to provide a multitude of essential functions regarding the hiring, evaluating and supervising inpatient pool staff members. These functions include – but are not limited to – reporting the daily operations to the Staffing Supervisor, ensuring accurate scheduling, maintaining clear communication lines with Clinical Managers and Nurse Administrators and mentoring technician staff training.

 

  • To provide assistance to the staffing supervisor in the coordination of the required staffing coverage for all acute care departments.
  • Coordinate unit staff to ensure unit coverage on a 24/7 basis for all Programs assigned.
  • Maintain an accurate daily staffing schedule for all inpatient units.
  • Monitor time and attendance regularly to ensure accuracy of electronic timesheet.
  • Track overtime usage and make report in weekly meeting.
  • Makes rounds on the units, observing staffing patterns and makes corrections for staffing compliance.
  • Works cooperatively with unit and nursing managers regarding assignment and utilization of staff.
  • Maintain a master schedule for each acute care unit, through OnShift and Staffing Grid, filling daily staffing needs due to call-outs, census fluctuations and other variables.
  • Monitoring employees in number and availability for each position to assure that pool is able to meet staffing needs without overtime.
  • Maintain current and accurate contact information for all staff through OnShift and ADP, communicate needs or changes for ADP/electronic time sheet to the appropriate manager, Human Resources and Payroll.
  • Conducts interviews for potential new hires, making hiring recommendations by following current Human Resources procedures.

Job Requirements

Position qualifications: Ability to receive and maintain a(n)

  • Level II Background clearance
  • Acceptable Motor Vehicle Registration driver’s license record in accordance with the underwriting guidelines set by Aspire insurance company as described in the AHP Corporate Transportation Policy 3.9.1
