Job Description

Job Purpose: To promote Recovery and Resiliency through employment training and job coaching. Once members are placed, this position will train client, monitor their progress and act as liaison with the employer. Participates in the multidisciplinary team approach in support of the Fact Team program to promote recovery and resiliency through educational opportunities, volunteer opportunities, employment training, and job coaching.

FACT is a 24/7 program. The normal work hours are 8-4, however there will be times where the staff will have to rotate working on weekends  and some evenings  ( 11-7pm).  The staff also has to rotate “on call’ ( after hours)   weekly  so each employee  may be” on call”  6-7  times a year .

 

Job Requirements

 

Position qualifications: Ability to receive and maintain a(n)

  • Level II Background clearance
  • Acceptable Motor Vehicle Registration driver’s license record in accordance with the underwriting guidelines set by Aspire insurance company as described in the AHP Corporate Transportation Policy 3.9.1
  • Bachelor Degree in psychology, social work, sociology or a related subject

 

  • Must have a minimum of 2 years direct care working experience with severe and persistent mental health population, focusing on case management and housing.

 

Other qualifications:

  • Must be able to successfully work independently and motivate members to do so. Must have a good working knowledge of the Orlando business community and housing market and be able to present program and members in a positive light, emphasizing support and de-stigmatization of mental illness.
  • Must work well with colleagues in order agencies, utilizing appropriate problem-solving and conflict resolution skills.
